Explore Guadeloupe on an ultimate full-day private tour. Experience island life through the eyes of a local, as you visit Grande-Terre, with its white sand beaches, urban centres and sugar cane fields; or verdant Basse-Terre, a pristine land of mountains, with one volcano, rainforests, and rivers.

After meeting with your guide, you'll be transported to Pointe-à-Pitre. Ideally located at the centre of Guadeloupe, Pointe-à-Pitre, the economic capital of the Guadeloupe archipelago, is well worth a visit, if only for its typical streets, two museums and deliciously colourful markets. The picturesque fish market of La Darse, which takes place every morning from Monday to Saturday, is sure to impress you with its fresh fish sold directly by the fishermen, and its wonderful stalls full of exotic fruits and vegetables. A colourful, flavourful experience that's sure to enchant your taste buds! We'll also head to the famous central market, also known as Saint-Antoine market. This tourist-friendly market has many colourful stalls, all loaded with spices, exotic jams and punch, with the traders in traditional madras dress offering a warm welcome.
In the afternoon, right after lunch, we'll head to the exotic nature reserve of the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin to discover the mangrove forest. Part on land, part on in water, it is a very rich ecosystem filled with crabs, birds, fishes and is essential and has an important purpose in life. It will be possible for you to swim in Le Grand-Cul-de-Sac-Marin. If the craftsmen are available, we will finish the day with some local handicraft: jewelry making with seeds, vines, from red, orange, to gray, black or white color and the work on calabash.
